I didn’t like the part in which he failed to mention GW2 while talking about MMO’s combat. I mean, it’s probably one of the best combat systems around right now.

Well, hes not really saying anything new so sure, theres valid points there.
Hes not bringing in anything new tho, hes just stating what those of us who posed this question before already has concluded.

Eh… highly over-simplified and generalized. Nothing wrong, a fine opinion, but nothing really revolutionary. But hey, that’s just an old " 1st gen nerd’s " opinion.

@Wolfheart: GW2 is nothing new, its except for the dodge still target based combat, TERA way better
@Lue: yes he is stating what some already concluded but I saw not any famous youtube caster say anything about is
@ simplified yes, but the point of that vid isnt to revolutionize something its to state something

And Tera has (had?) plenty of skills that rooted you in place, a mechanic that doesn’t mesh well with action-combat. If anything, I’d describe GW2’s combat as superior. Both systems have their flaws and seeing how the guy behind the video mainly plays Tera, I’m not surprised about him not mentioning GW2.

But I didn’t want to start a “my game is better than yours” war, just wondering how he missed it.

Nothing bad about Kungen, but him agreeing on this shouldn’t exactly have an impact on, well, anything.

Not that I actually bother listening to the socalled “famous” youtubers but I’d say the main reason this question hasn’t really been brought up that much is simply because most of us who played MMOs before WoW simply had reached this conclusion before, but it was enjoyable to listen to nevertheless.
