TP - Oranges
De Mortuis Nil Nisi Bonum.
if the TP were doing something like this to me, id just say forget it and list it for 1 copper more than the buy order. They should sell eventually.

I thought about this but if its a bug I don’t want something out there to be blocking my buy orders, or if someone is creating a new macro to auto-place orders…. hence the question. But I appreciate the suggestion.

It is propably a bot that places those buy orders. And once they are filled, he puts up another buy order faster than you selling.
I am not in game right now and i usually dont sell directly to buy orders but you should be able to directly click on the big buy order that is 1 copper less than the botted buy order, in the bottom left window.
Then you would fill 2/2 of the botted orders and 248/1200 (1 stack max) to the big buy order once copper below.

Will have to retry that. I believe I did and the interface was not allowing it since it wanted to fill the first order before trying the second one. Oranges themselves aren’t really the issue except it was taking forever to sell them off. Seemed to either be bug or bot, but wasn’t certain why someone would bot for oranges. Good gaming!

Once upon a time you could list an entire stack of items in the sell instantly and everyone with a buy order would get them- even though as each order was filled you got less for your goods. Now you have to constantly re-list too, or start off getting less than you could, I could see the Orange thing being a bug stemming from this ‘feature’ that came around with the market update. Or like someone else said, a bot.
What I wished they’d done with the market update was get rid of the vendor armor/weapons that look like the salvageable ones- but can’t be salvaged- from the market and made them soulbound as well so they couldn’t be listed in the first place. That and the whole issue where you can’t sell for less than vendor price but people can put up buy orders for less than vendor price which artificially deflates the value of some items.
