TP access seems illogical to me
Because it would defeat the purpose of 1-time and permanent tp merchant contracts.

The ingame reason you can sell and not pick up is cause when you sell you send out the items with your carrier pigeon, but the TP doesn’t offer air mail delivery
Evon won’t invest in steroid pumped pigeons to carry your loots to you.
I saw no carrier pigeon and its instant so its a quantum teleportation. Rm paid for merchant contracts? These have no purpose to defeat as all you have to do to access tp is to enter pvp lobby from anywhere and walk a few dozens of steps.
If you were to purchase, say, 50,000 Copper Ore, how would they be delivered? By mail? Mail only holds 5 slots. Several mail? Would they just back up? Must you click on each slot? Instantly placed in your inventory bag? Do you have enough slots? Would the Mail Carrier just hover above in a holding pattern? Would there then be a limit on how much you could purchase?
Many things to consider.

I use my permanent contract all the time, even in situations where going to the pvp lobby isnt an option, fr example on a wvw map with a queue, a full pve map right before an event starts or while I am crafting in bulk.
When forging precursors I sometimes refine huge amounts of mithril or elder wood, which can take up to 30 min. When i spawn my tp merchant, i can pick up more stuff without having to interrupt the crafting process.

Somethings aren’t worth looking at from a logical standpoint.

You have to look real close. Move the TP off to the side so you can see your person. When you sell an item you see a little bird fly off.

It’s really obvious with the red envelope though, as you throw those away, grunting.
Step 1: Enter PvP lobby
Step 2: Look for the BLTC NPC there
Step 3: Leave the PvP Lobby
Not that hard it is?

Wat r u, casul?
I seem to remember hearing, a long time ago, that it was designed to stop people ‘cheating’ dungeons and other instanced content (or stuff in remote areas) by buying the equipment, food buffs etc. they realise they need while they’re in there (this was back in the day when you also had to go to a town to change your traits).
But the existance of the TP access consumable seems to contradict that.
