I love that you will be able to change the stats on Legendaries. And I also love that we finally have more insight on how to obtain a precursor. Now it feels much more possible to have more than 1 Legendary. Thank you!

Feedback like this is important too. I am going to put in my thanks. With this I actually have a goal to make a legendary. Before I was not going to bother at all. Relied too much on too much coin or random chance.

Now I have a clear path and I can act/save for it without it being a moving target.

I’m probably gonna finish my legendary before this gets implemented though :x But I love the changes nonetheless

Karma boosts, the Orrian Jewellery boxes. I wish I had known about this before I got my Obsid Shards.

Isn’t the conversion rate a lot poorer than buying them directly?

it is, but even the junk found there when you buy a lot is worthy some gold. also you can find lodestones and karma, the only useless things you can find there are the mini risen priest of balthazar and the potions that turn you in an elemental.

Guest around. Many servers do temple runs after reset, but most do Baltz on weekends since it take a bit longer than the others.

Yeah, Orrian Jewelry boxes are far superior to buying Obsidian Shards directly. You get PLENTY, and get lodestones and such to boot. Plus you don’t have to wait for Balthazar to be open. Just make sure to use Karma Boost (50% from BLTC booster, 15% amulet infusion, 10% banner, 5% food). I usually make 20-30g on a run (go when I’m around 75 karma jugs plus drops and such), and I don’t even sell the Charged Lodestones (need them for Meteorlogicus).

But, we’re somewhat off topic. Yes, I’m glad they’re changing precursors (even though I sort of got screwed on mine, bought Storm back when it was at 200g because they seemed like they were eternally going up in price and I wanted to get it before it was outrageous). This is a good change. Finally a fix to one of the most complained about issues in the game. Better late than never.

Also, I really hope that they make the legendaries account bound.

[PHO] do balth run every day on gunnars hold at 8pm+1bst, so next one will be in about 4 hours from now. but WE do it every day.

Gw2stuff’s summary chart will find you an open temple in seconds.

PVT on my legendaries has been fine for me, but I think is is a really smart idea for bringing real value to the weapons without upping the stats (which I personally think would be a bad idea.) beyond whatever ascended weapons get.

With good stacking of karma boosters (bonfire or +50% from fortunes, banner, booster etc) you can get back most of the karma you put into boxes, while additionally getting obsi shards, possible lodestone drops and some cash from thrash objects. Buying directly is better if all you are interested in are shards, but this option isn’t that bad either.
