Am I the only one who would love to see miniatures of the guild wars races for tabletop RPG I would spend $10 for an unpainted $20 for painted high quality miniature of a race and class. Maybe have a couple options for armor heck 20 and they could just use your character model printed out of a 3D printer. Make use of http://www.shapeways.com/.

Having my toons from various MMO’s, GW2 included made into miniatures to be painted has always been a very tempting idea.

I’ll probably invest in the idea one day, although if the community made RPG gets going, that could be a cool link up

I don’t play tabletops but wouldn’t mind having a mini quaggan on my desk.

i like the idea of having more different statues and figures of different sizes and prices

they only have those 2 big statues as far as i know(rytlock and shatterer it was i think)
and those 2 are sold out? at least i saw topics asking for info where to buy and it seemed like they cant be bought anymore atm

so there is demand but no supply atm

i would just love to have a bigger variety of statues and also smaller figures and i know quite a few people who dont play tabletops but would still buy one or 2 of such figures/statues if there were cheaper options and different models (not everyone likes shatterer and rytlock :P) not only the very high priced ones like the shatterer statue

The RPG is well underway. We’ve been going at it for 3 months now, and are nearing the first Alpha test.

And yes, something like this would be awesome and amazing for this project!
If only I had a 3d printer…. :P

There was a service that was doing this with WoW charature but I can’t find it. Some how they were able to get the 3D code stripped form the game to creat the figures not Sure if they had blizzard works permission to do this but it was quite pricy and I tried googling for it with no luck. This was some time ago back when this same topic came up on one of the GW1 forum boards. Now the 3D printing is getting cheaper Anet has the potential for making more money. Maybe not with them going into the 3D printing service but providing the 3D data from the game as a gem store purchase then we can take that data to a 3D printing service and get our charatures printed. Or any in game charature.

That would work I just wouldn’t love to be able to have a couple of charr miniatures and a quaggan for myself.

I would love to see them releasing 3D models for 3D printing.
