Talk like a pirate day coming soon!
One Pirate Captain outfit purchased!
“Ohh you have a woman’s purse M’Lord..!”
I don’t think it’s ever really bothered with in GW2.
They might put that Pirate Quaggan mini up on sale and the pirate outfit, just to cash in. Arena Net has never really bothered with celebrating that day in the past.

GW1 had/has Pirate Week since 2008. But yeah, GW2 doesn’t do anything with it.

Yea, GW1 is kinda irrelevant here in the GW2 forum.

Well, there isn’t an official GW1 forum at all. So, this is technically a forum for both GW1 and GW2 posts. You said Anet hasn’t bothered with Pirate Day in the past, and so I was just pointing out that they used to/do with the first game.
I’m enjoying my Grog in GW1 this week.
Found this! (I must not have been playing that month last year.)
I hope ANet does celebrate it again in GW2. I’ve had a soft spot for the day ever since it was introduced, since the founders of it (who created it just for fun and then it took off world wide) selected my wedding anniversary by random chance.
Though I hope it’s not a one day celebration. As it will be a Saturday and my 23rd anniversary, I’m likely to be gone all day to the Renn Faire unless the weather’s horrid.

I hope they bring the sale back at least – last year in wvw, we (I say we, I mean the night-crew) dressed up, got drunk and watched our border burn as we sat on a boat in Bay and sung songs on ts. good times…. yeah. good times. um.
