Targeting in Winter Wonderland
Well, is there anywhere in-game where targeting is disabled? I can’t think of any such place. It might not be that simple to just have it not work for a handful of instances (especially when the instances are part of the overall pvp system). I do agree that it’s annoying when the targeting trolls decide to constantly pop a target on you (or anyone).
Winter Wonderland is considered to be a PvP instance by the game system. I doubt they could disable it there without disabling it in all of PvP
Is there any reason people can target you in Winter Wonderland? I mean, it seems like there no real legitimate reason it’s necessary to allow that other than possibly ANet wants people to be able to harass other players.
This probably isn’t helpful, but I immediately target the person back. Eventually, they give up on targetting me because they are tired of “target relay.”

but everyone seems to be on a separate team and you normally can’t see the target of the opposing team so that part is still a bit odd
I agree. We’re all on separate teams. It’s probably just an over sight that we’re able to target someone who’s not on our team.
