without stating whether the pseudo emote was a reportable offense or not, can you clarify either way?

The way I see it the person laying dead for five minutes is more reportable for wasting a slot in WvWs that someone else could be using, rather then the ones keeping an eye on his spying, regardless of what they have to do to pass the time wasted whilst spotting his corpse for nefarious activity, or did you close it because of the spying is reportable?

It’s not. It’s common sense. There doesn’t need to be a moderator post to confirm this. It really doesn’t matter either way. Spies will always be there, and people will always emote

Yerp, just what I thought, but then the “Mod`” stated report if offended & closed it without saying either way…

To quote the mod who closed this:
‘Hi everyone, we advise you to report every user that could have offended you, or broken the users’ agreement by submitting a ticket to the support or by using the in-game tool.’

In other words it depends on the situation. Are you doing it for 5 seconds or for 20 minutes? what other circumstance are there?? What was the reason for defeat.

I got defeated yesterday twice. The first was in a one vs one fight, where I think such joke would have been of a totally different order then the zerg that jumped on me from behind and killed me in 1-2 seconds.

So if you are offended report. If you are afraid you might be offending someone then don’t do it. Common sense brings you far :P

Once you’re in WvW you can do all kinds of things…including laying dead. You can craft, use the TP, gather, do karma stuff, skill points, explore, role play, jumping puzzles, etc.

If you are not offended after a 1v1 fight but ARE offended after a zerg.. you might want to remember you’re playing a game and that you can WP back regardless and not waste support time with a ticket.

If a group of people sits on my corpse for 5 minutes, that means there’s 5 minutes where they’re not fighting. They get satisfaction out of their actions, and I get satisfaction knowing they’re not defending their own side or attacking my side. I see it as a win-win situation!

This. Its pretty much win for you if they decide to waste their time doing something like that.
Just give yourself a hug/demand your guildies to give you one, since you’ve succesfully made the enemy so mad that they want to waste their time on your corpse.

for an added effect, invite them to your group and let them spew out how hard their childhood was. then pretend to understand and ress to stab their faces in.

In other words, its all game.
