Can someone give me some advice on how the hell to get to a temple of balth that is open? I get 2 guests to other servers within 24 hours. I looked at GW2STUFF.com and GW2STATE.com and both were not accurate on separate occasions which leaves me waiting for my guesting c/d. I don’t care about Anet having event chains in game that are large numbers coordinated even though its completely stupid and elitest imo but its more the fact that the only place I can get obsidian shards for karma points is at that pain in the butt temple that is always closed across all servers! Any advice would be appreciated thanks or Anet could just sort this FAIL idea out in the first place. Thanks all.

I agree, it’s frustrating. It gets contested really fast.

GW2stuff.com give which temples are being contested and also which have failed to be retaken. This info comes directly from the game so will be accurate. Also there was a topic in players helping players which listed open Balth.

I have been attempting to get into one for quite some time now, as I usually can only play during the weekends it’s pretty annoying when gw2stuff tells you it’s open while it isn’t…

The DE forum thread is generally pretty accurate. It worked for me. You just have to watch & wait.

Consequently, what it the point of the Balth vendor? What does he offer that nobody else does? I looked and I guess I just didn’t get it.

Well, it’s the only place in game to get exotic cavalier (power, thoughness, crit.damage) back, rings, amulet and accesories, which you can buy for karma.
