Temples in Orr
its all of orr in general. cannot do anything solo there beyond trash mobs and even then its limited. the respawns are insane and the corruption fields or whatever they are called cover huge areas. I was even having problems on my warrior.
I agree, frankly, they should just nerf Orr in general. I ragequit so many times because I can’t get 100% map completion. It’s seriously ticking me off. At least make events optional there…
I just finished Malchor’s Leap last night, what a pain. Had to wait over a week to find a night when there was enough players to complete the Cathedral events. What’s will this be like six months from now for new players? The number of enemies and re-spawn rates need to scale to the number of players on the map and doing events. Make them solo friendly!
Dwayna can be solo’d and Grenth can be duo’d.
Lyssa and Melandru are the only ones that require at least a full group due to their mechanic.
I haven’t done Balthazar since the start, but the easiest time I did it was with 4 (random) people. In comparison, the zerg usually had 10 deaths in the first second and only a handful remaining a minute later.
The problem with soloing these events however is that the time + effort vs reward is way off knowing that a zerg could do it in a fraction of the time while a majority stands there just spamming 1. Unfortunately, this will never be changed though.
Just wait. With the current state of the zones, it will give them the oomph they need to push henchmen/heroes through. We will finally get something that makes this game feel like a sequel to GW1.
Honestly I can’t wait. It’s super exciting thinking about that system in this game. Sure we lost our gear plateau and open world play in favor of WoW style gear grinding and dungeon farming, but we’ll still get at least one of the best parts of GW1.
