This zone is like dead center of the map.. Are we ever going to see anything out of the Tengu? Played race, perhaps?

I just want Cantha to come back..That was my favorite gw…no..any expansion to any MMO ever

Start any thread with topic A(tengu) people will always come up with topic B (cantha) even if they have little/nothing/ to do with eachother. Why r u doing this? :/

I actually care about the Tengu. Considering this new set of “material” is trash (haven’t done dragon yet) and this Zone has been here forever. Let it be known that I don’t care for Cantha.

To my understanding, the tengu were meant to be a playable race at the start of the game; however, due to time concerns and other factors, it did not make the cut.

“Prior to release, the tengu were a strong candidate for one of the playable races, with the Dominion of Winds as their starter city.²”

In my opinion, it most likely will be a playable race; however, I think it will be available only after anet has exhausted every other effort in their idea books. Sort of a last resort trump card.

I didn’t check the Wiki on that one. Thanks for that (it didn’t occur to me), but I surely hope a “trump card” isn’t their end goal. I really looked forward to the Tengu being part of their “Season 2”. I figured it’d be the opener… Instead… More stuff I don’t care for and has nothing to do with the key features a “Guild Wars” game needs.
