“This is our dwelling, the Dominion of Winds. We keep watch from this perch as power shifts and the world is transformed. We must soon determine with whom we will fight and with whom we will ally.” -Yuki Honestcrest

The Tengu are now considered my enemy and enemy to the Lions Arch, long have we respected there beliefs, patiently waiting for them to pick a side. Now they have shown there true colours, they have chosen a side, they are now our enemy.

The Tengu hid behind there walls and did nothing when Zhaitan attacked Lions Arch…

They did nothing when the KarKa rose from the sea and attacked our shores…

Now they cower behind there walls as Lions Arch is burnt to the ground…

I approached the great wall out of desperation, begging for there help, pleading to whatever fraction of kindness they had left in them.

This was there response….

That’s a cool quote but I am pretty sure A.Net forgot about it when they implemented that insta-kill barrage.

I just think they don’t want to take any risk. The air is red with fire and full of toxins. They’re not going to take their time to see if who’s approaching their wall is friendly or not, they’re just not going to take any chances.

Any plan that involves dead quaggans is, by design, foolproof. I’m an unmitigated genius!

Never noticed how most of the Tengu speak with a stereotypical Japanese accent?

I know they believe it’s the right thing, but yeah. They just didn’t want to “take the time” to see if someone was friend or foe. People probably ran to their gates for safety and were killed. It’s sad.
They’re no friend of mine.

How are they still around? Couldn’t the airships fly over their walls and just bomb them while their arrows fly up and then come down?

I am curious if ArenaNet have a plan for them.

The Tengu were originally going to be a playable race at launch but ArenaNet changed there minds last minute, they said they liked the race and there is huge potential with them and strongly hinted that they would be added as a playable race in the future….

But they are creating a problem lore wise, even if the Tengu did decide to join us we would refuse there help now that they have slaughtered our people, unless….

The Tengu are a very old race and it is said that they know secrets about the Elder Dragons, what if the Tengu finally come to us for help, and we are forced to help them in exchange for there knowledge, thus making them a playable race.

We know that the Tengu are having problems with Primordus forces already.
