Tengu you stink.
I never cared for the Tengu in GW1 or GW2. But I laughed my butt off during the Scarlet invasion of LA when I wandered too close to their doors and a rain of arrows dropped me like a hot potato. For that one moment, I loved them. They finally had some character.

Nice that’s one idea for a new Dynamic Event.
Fry and grill the tengu so that when it comes time to kill the Sylvari we have something to dress up the imminent salads.

We need a Restraunt called KFT (Krytan Fried Tengu).
It’s serve things like Tengu Sandwiches, Nuggets, Popcorn Tengu, BBQ Tengu, Buckets of Tengu, and so on. Would be delish~
I just realised something the Destroyers are already here since day one attacking outside the walls of Dominions of The Winds, when they start attacking inside the city itself then they will come crying to us for help and let us in. I think that will be the first sign that we must go after Primordius.

No Buffalo Tengu wings?!?….man, Tyria has no taste at all!
Let’s start piling up white bread under that wall of theirs. That’s how you kill pigeons.

Tengu eat mostly raw meat.
Pigeons will eat pretty much anything. :P

Tastes like chicken
The tengu did send one of their best weaponsmiths during the campaign against Zhaitan. We might expect more indirect aid in that regard.
Tengu are in a weird place where they seem quite xenophobic towards outsiders, yet they routinely come out to trade their wares.
They’re also not above lending a hand against the dragon threat.
We might get tengu as a playable race someday over the rainbow, but obviously not in the foreseeable future.
We haven’t seen a disaster big enough to push the tengu outside of their wall or enough to be willing to open up to outsiders.
Till that day comes, tengu are going to come off as stoic and rather cold folk.
If something goes down in LA as far as the tengu are concerned you better kitten well stay on your side of their wall.
I hate birds, so no thankyou to Tengu.
Never liked them anyways
You came on our side of the wall just to tell us that!
Can we use him as bait to get more Tengu spicy fried wing?

As much as I would have loved to play a Tengu, because we got a new class I’m glad we didn’t get the new race… most people would probably default to “tengu revenant”. Adding a new race later without a new class will add a bit of variety I think
“Walk with the pack. In the eyes of Wolf, we are all brothers and sisters.”
Is it time to start the Caromi scalp trade again? I think I have great-great-grandfather’s scalping knife around here somewhere.
After the kitten that went down in LA (right next to them) they probably think we are out of our minds. After that, I imagine what ever semblance of eagerness to reach out with us has all but evaporated. That, or perhaps the poison leaked over the wall and they are all gone the way of the Dodo.
Still sad there’s no playable Tengu…
I think they’re all a bunch of cowardly, scared chickens. I mean Tengu.

If you read the heart npc’s dialogue you’d know the destroyers have been attacking within the walls as well since day 1.
I’ll be pleasantly surprised if there will be a new playable race (tengu or otherwise), they just wanted to keep it secret for the PAX East demo.
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.

Funny I was thinking the very same thing today. They don’t have to reveal everything.

May I suggest sylvari as firewood?

… I didn’t know about that at all. I missed an opportunity to be murdered by paranoid Tengus.
You should have received a title for that, something like “Murder of Crows” or other suitable pun.
