I think it’s how damaged the batteries get that affects getting the orange bag.

The orange reward box is once per day per account. So, if you already did Teq since the most recent reset, that’s why you didn’t get an orange reward box.

Well does that boss daily kill reset with the other dailies? If so this was the first time I did it today.

I once didn’t defend one of the lasers during one of the phases because I was clearing the beach and didn’t get the fourth bag – not sure if it was a bug or if you need to get credit for all of the defend events in order to get all of the bags. Gold/silver/bronze shouldn’t affect the rewards though.

… There are people who don’t get Gold on Teq kills?
