Kinda new here, been playing for 2 months now.

I really enjoy those world bosses, but unfortunately I seem to be the only one who wants to do the Tequatl event.

Been talking to some people and the main excuse was that its “too hard”…well, thats where the fun is…isnt it?
Im afriad with that attitude new players will never get to see Tequatl fall, and will never get the achivments.
and also I heard you get wings? WINGS?!?

I say lets group up, chose a server to host, set up a time and kill this thing.
Can’t stand it that I might now complete this event

Maybe this can help.

Theres a family of guild who organise raids on a daily basis for it, check up TTS. They operate both in NA and EU.

That’s basically your best bet because, frankly, PUGs can’t raid.

As for the wings, you can’t get those anymore, they were a limited event item which was released with the revamp. The dragon himself drops Sunless weapon skins, a mini of itself and a high chance (relative to other sources) of an Ascended weapon box.

PUG is Pick Up Group, meaning random players with no organization or strategy whatsoever.

If you want wings, you should look into the Holographic Dragon wings in the Trading Post. Type Holographic in the search and you can preview them. At about 10 gold right now, I know they are likely way out of your current price range but they can be a longer term goal for you. Once you get to level 80 and have access to more money opportunities, 10 gold isn’t that much. Just be aware that price depends on supply and demand so the price is likely to go up as supply goes down.

BTW, whats the best back items money can buy? how to search for back items in blt?

On the trading post try searching for any of the following: spineguard, brace, splice, or back.

The best backpieces come from fractals however:

Temples also sell backpieces. These are exotics, the stats depend on the temple and you buy them with karma.

Edit:
This site shows which temple has which stats. The wiki is probably wrong about the stats on Melandru since magic find was removed from gear a while back.
