Is there a complete list of Textile codes for this site? “Hints” are just not enough for some of us who are unfamiliar with it, and guessing at possible code is rather frustrating.

Be aware, though, that not every code specified by Textile is implemented on the forum:

I was vaguely hoping the forums would get revamped with Heart of Thorns, but I’m not holding my breath.

I saw those, and “exhausting” is an apt term for them, lol.
Really I just wanted to do strikes and colors.
I don’t see why they just don’t have a list of what does work, instead of “hints”.
I play a game online, but that doesn’t mean I’d enjoy the forum for the game I play to be a game of hide and seek .

Save yourself the agony of Textile and just use BBCode. It’s a lot more common on forums than Textile is, and easier to use, in my opinion. I’ve added spaces to these examples so the forum will let you see the code, but you can find a good set of codes here.

Unfortunately, you can’t do bulleted lists with BBCode on this forum, although you can do it with Textile. This forum software just isn’t very good like that.

The only quick-type things I’ve found are asterisks to make bold text and underscores to make italics. That’s * bold text * and _ italics _ sans the spaces by the surrounding symbols. I’ve stretched those two text alterations to cover a lot of emphasis in posts.
