I rarely ever read the forums, let alone actually create a topic. However I felt on overwhelming need to say a few things. I rarely read the forums, as stated above, because usually it depresses me and takes away from my experience from the game. What I mean is generally speaking most topics are, “I Want”, “Please Don’t take my shiny”, “Please add more free stuff”, “You guys (A-net) aren’t doing this right or that right”. This is generally been my experience, when I am just looking for a quick answer to a question I invariably get pulled into reading the majority of the above.
That being said, I wanted to state that A-net did not have to extend the Halloween achievement for “the party” thus giving you a free hat, and the final title of Emissary to the Mad King. They even stated at one point that due to scheduling this would not happen. And wow tons of sometimes harsh topics regarding this, and tons of comments about how they should.
Well they did, but I haven’t seen but maybe a tiny fraction saying a word about it. The Northeast of America was hit with an historical nature blast, that cost untold damage physically, mentally, monetarily. And I hope the people affected by this are doing everything they can to stay safe and protected and families are together.
Point to all this? I, for one, just wanted to say thank you
, and a huge hug for doing what you have done for the sake of your players, when you didn’t have to. So to A-Net, there Staff, from the President down to the cleaning crew, You all are the best, and some of the finest people in this industry. Thank You!
