Look, I know there is a whole world of salt that’s thrown out against Anet, developers and the whole team, when it comes to the development of Guild Wars 2. Truly, I find myself as part of the growing group of players that have been entirely frustrated with the lack of development and attention WvW has recieved. WvW is by far and away my favorite game mode allowing for both individual play (roaming), small group tactics as well as 15+ man group and the sheer awesome battles that can come from them.

I have not, in any game, seen the level of communication that Anet provides to it’s player base in the forms of Forum posts, Reddit pages and other releases of news. To that extent, we even see them playing PvP or WvW from time to time. Yeah they get zero’d in on hard core but that’s besides the point.

I wanted to pass on my appreciation and sincere thanks in keeping that communication open. Let’s ask ourselves, when was the last time you saw a company lead hold a AMA on Reddit? This can go on and on however I’ll simply restate my appreciation for the level of communication that has been delivered to the player base.

Sincerely,

Fan from Day 1

I agree, i really appreciated the AMA, even despite my question not being asked (ETA on Visuals).
They really cleared alot of things up and i think it was a really good boost for morale for many people.

Also agree. People wanted more dev interaction, Anet delivered. Glad they were so transparent and hopefully people stop being Chicken Littles and actually make some constructive discussion out of this.
