Thank you
100% agreed on all counts!
Same as Ceraphyn but everything opposite.
I wanted to sincerely thank the developers of this amazing game for their hard work and authentic commitment…
Yeah really. Any complaints I DO have are trumped by what an great game it is overall.
The only other games I can say I probably played as long as GW1 and now also 2, would be the entire GTA series collectively, and the Unreal Tournament series, but those dont’ have /age commands. LOL

Feel free to go play Diablo 3 and see how good THAT game is working out a year after release.
It’s probably bad form to rag on them here, but honestly I don’t think they have their game deving stuff together nearly as much as Anet. I played that for a bit before GW2 came out and I only played it like a couple weeks, and I wish I saved my $60.
I have learned that your changes to the game are very methodical and thought through – you do not have “knee-jerk reactions”.
I agree with your whole post in total, but I just wanted to single this out. This is the aspect of their development strategy that I feel gets the least recognition.
toasts and cheers all about.
Agreed.
On the whole, just a very good experience.
More to be done (always more) but on the right track.

Perhaps…because it’s holds true in some places but not so well in others.
(ie: Dungeon changes are bit by bit. Addition of DR was across the board in one go. Both are big changes in their own right, but one was done quite abruptly and the other is being done bit by bit)

As well as the first three Rainbow Six games and their expansions.
Couldn’t agree more – GW2 is the blind date MMORPG I have been waiting to walk through the door since I ended my financially draining and time consuming relationship with WoW.
The easy pick-up-and-play element combined with the graphics and versatility of characters (played the way I want to play them) is a breath of fresh air.
It might just be because I’m still in the honeymoon period but the people seem nicer too…
GW2 took a while to grow on me, but I can already feel the nostalgia stabbing in roots.
I’m actually a bit sad there’s next to nothing in way of merch. I love me some t-shirts and plushies.

In-game or in real life? Or both?
