Since my original post was removed, I will rephrase.

Dear Arena Net,

I do believe I am not only speaking for myself on this…

I would like to know why so many changes have taken place in the game, that did not need changing, while other things (some little, some big) remain neglected and unattended?

Why are changes being made to parts of the game that did not need to be changed or “fixed”?

Why does it seem like you’re forcing us to purchase items from the gem store to re-skin items in the game that should not necessarily need it..?

Take the Ascended items for example (armor especially), being end game items, just 1 step down from Legendary, and yet it seems majority of the end game gear needs to be re-skinned.

Are you trying to force us to purchase from the gem store?

Why not simply make the game enjoyable, less repetitive and or redundant?

Why not simply make high level weapons and armor pleasing to the eye?

There are many much less duplicitous ways to get your player base to spend money on your game…

Such as making the game itself, from the foundation upwards, into a true masterpiece, cleverly created, and draws the player in, and does not feel like a nearly constant grind.

Please do shed some light on this topic Arena Net.

Inquiring minds would like to know why you seem to be running the game into the ground, when it has so so soooo much potential for greatness.
