I just wanted to say thank you for healing me of my WoW addiction. I played on one of the original servers back in Vanilla, tried to quit after a year and a bit, couldn’t do it, and played 7 more years. I wish I had found this game sooner. A LOT sooner. It’s as if you searched the WoW forums for every complaint about that game, and then said … hey let’s not put any of that in our game. Let’s make it what WoW players wish WoW could be. So again, thank you for healing me of that addiction.

only problem now is I’m addicted to GW2. Oh well. It’s like I broke up with an abusive partner, ankitten ow dating a plump, less damaged, and happy version of Britney Spears.

If there’s one thing that GW2 has taught me it’s that you don’t need a gear treadmill to have epic experiences, challenging content and character progression.

Been playing since launch, feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface. TY GW2!

I just started playing this game a month or two ago and DIDN’T think it was awesome at first. Actually at first I was like “I don’t get why people think this is the greatest game ever.” Now I’ve unlocked some traits so it’s more fun but I have a lot of stuff I still haven’t touched yet. But the new trait system is bad so I don’t think new players are really going to like it. I know I didn’t.

And yet we have the occasional WoW person who comes here pretty much saying “This game isn’t enough like WoW, when will you make it like WoW?”
