Guild Wars 2

Thank you, Arenanet for the awesome monthly. Last month I missed it because dungeons was part of it, and I very much do not like those.. It’s a personal preference but even when I did try to get the 5 done we never finished or couldn’t get a group.. So anyway, this is my first monthly ever completed, so thanks for having tasks that cover my average play style : )

I think monthlies are generally either:

1. In place to help get players to play-test content. (Because QA teams can’t possibly test EVERYTHING and there will always be issues in released content.)
2. Promote content that may be useful in the future. (They recently mentioned that they’re going to try to make crafting “worthwhile” again.)

Yea the dungeons thing is a personal preference. I’ve just had bad experiences with them, but that doesn’t mean they are necessarily bad. Just happy that I was able to complete my first monthly ever ^^

Hopefully the first of many, if ArenaNet brings the multi-choice thing to monthlies (like dailies now have).

Yea I would love to see options for monthlies as well. This would allow me (and others) a choice to skip things we aren’t as fond of, while still giving us the push to try new/other things.

It was definitely the easiest monthly ever. Took no time at all besides the 4 dailies. I’ve done mine already as well.
