I’ve seen a couple threads nitpicking at this item, but it deserves to be said: Thank you for this item.
A permanent, instant food buff generator is a big improvement over a single generic mini pet. Thank you for the uniqueness and usefulness of the birthday gift. If nothing else, this shows me that you do listen to feedback and work to implement improvement. =)
You can shoot it on walls, even paint with it. Could be awesome if it attached to players (like warriors throw sword). Awesome anyways Funniest items so far… Quip got demoted to second place :P
I was talking to a guildie last night when I finally got my gift items, and was at first upset by the scrolls and booster. The gun I thought was cool, but was more kittened originally by the other gifts. My friend starts to laugh and I ask why. He says the devs probably did a ‘kitten you’ troll thing to all the cynics on the forums about the gift and the only real gift was supposed to be the gun. After thinking about it, it kind of made sense, I mean honestly a 5 skill point soulbound scroll for a 2 year old toon??? That had to be a tactful troll move! Kudos ANET you won this round!
Yeah, don’t listen to the spoiled children around here. I usualy complain a lot on the forum, but here I won’t. I mean… an INFINITE BIRTHDAY CAKES DISTRIBUTOR !!! Why the hell are you complaining about the most awesome idea ever thought !? _ Besides, from where I come, complaining about a free gift is very outrageous…
So maybe the lvl 20 scroll is useless (But I think you did that on purpose for all the trolls on the community right ;p ), maybe I’d prefer the former GW1 tradable miniature system, but thank you for that present. Thank you for the FREE perma food (for people like me who always forget to buy/craft foods it’s just perfect xD) and for the fun of throwing cake everywhere ! =D

I love love love this gift. I can now offer unprepared pugs in dungeons food at no expense to myself. And an emergency source of MF for world bosses if I forget/run out of food. Such a useful gift, best in game mmo present ever!!! Thanks Anet!

Have to agree, this is a great present and FAR outshines last year. This is the type of present I would expect from guildwars and you’ve renewed a portion of my faith that had been lost.
It’s better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.
