I went into SW with condition ranger with some sinister armor pieces and wow! The difference was HUGE! I felt a little overpowered taking down the supply run pop-ups by myself in just a few seconds. Before it would take me a couple of minutes. :/ I’m guessing it’ll be taken down a notch as this was a little TOO easy. But thank you for making condition anything viable now!

Everything is too easy in gw2’s pve lol… theres no point in changing it.
Anet hardly balances around PvE… everythign minus high lvl fractals can be completed with basic exotic gear and one hand tied behind your back…

You obviously never played a neutered condition character before……

never had a reason to lol.
Sure you can now but whats the difference? is it more fun than a power based character ?
Result is still the same, everything dies lol

So, you really feel the +2 damage per tick on bleed?

I do have fun with different classes and what not lol…the classes make it FUN… not their condi damage….

I was having fun just fine before this condi update… I see no reason to jump for joy because people can stack 1500 bleeds lol… either way, whatever you are attacking is going to die…wether it bleeds out or gets autoattacked to death lol. makes no difference

I noticed that while I was killing the giant vines and applying bleeds like mad, as the stacks rose they died especially fast.

What you find fun is obviously different then most I suppose. I enjoy playing different builds and different styles without being ridiculously handicapped. For those who like to do dungeons, fractals, pvp, wvw, etc., this is important because then they can actually play/compete with others. It’s not all about PVE. It’s cool you couldn’t care less, but if you look around the forums this has been asked for from the beginning.

Given that the only buff a single bleed tick received in this update is +2 dmg (they went back on the better scaling with cd last second) I find that hard to believe.

I haven’t had the time to play yet, but the patch notes don’t make it look like Bleed got buffed in any noticeable way.

As a bleed ranger what you are noticing is the increased power from gear and the addition of FOUR extra traits.

Bleed was only changed 2 damage per tick, so you aren’t feeling any additional damage from conditions unless you are getting above 25 stacks.

This seems to be a common misconception that i’ve seen today. Damage is increased from 4 traits, extra power, and overall build buffs. Bleed was not buffed, only had the cap removed.

If you do a lot of burn damage though that could be significant sicne burn is super OP right now.

Anyone noticed teq or wurm being easier?

Initial teq burn phase was 90 seconds lol

It’s cool, you can decide for yourself if it’s worth it or not. I’m didn’t write this post to debate it’s merits, just that it worked a hell of a lot better for me

I was just wondering whether it actually has something to do with the buffs conditions received or if it is more about the buffs your traits received.
