I didn’t notice this update until the Christmas stuff went away, but now I’m getting a 10-20 FPS second boost in Lion’s arch around the forge and trading post.

This has been a long time coming. Thank you Arenanet.

What actually happened is that Wintersday EFFED UP Lions Arch and getting rid of it put it back to normal. There weren’t any optimizations.

According to the Jan. 17th entry on the wiki, there was in fact an optimization update. My FPS is way higher in Lion’s Arch now than it was before Wintersday began, now that everything is back to normal.

That’s why I stated that I didn’t notice that the optimizations had occured until now. The fake snow machines and all the Wintersday crap slowed down FPS on it’s own.

It’s not only Lion’s Arch, I’ve noticed a significant FPS boost for myself in all areas.

Fix black citadel too, please!
