This is a wonderful gift ANet. Nothing like that lame crap WoW gives like “pets” and “murlocs” nonsense. This armor set looks better than anything I’ve seen in an MMO in a long time, and I would gladly pay money for this.

The best part of all is that it’s free.

I’ve actually seen naysaysers claim this armor is ugly and whatever: please ignore them. Those people are the blight of online MMO communities, and if their “tastes” dictate that an outfit such as this is ugly, their opinion is irrelevant in my eyes. Please don’t allow yourselves to be brought down into their cesspit.

This is armor is not bad. But since I don’t like outfits, this is no use to me. I prefer to mix my own set of style.

As plated armour its decent, except the helmet that make zero sense.
Didnt really want it though. I want a lorica segmentata set instead, Roman style.

I’m glad you can remove the helmet, the rest is really nice. Specially if you want the heavy armour look on a non-heavy class.

Giant boxy over-sized armor isn’t what I would describe as gorgeous. But to each their own.

Just because somebody thinks the armor is ugly doesn’t make them a naysayer. It makes them a paying customer that feels slighted because they were given an ugly outfit skin. Your opinion is not more important than somebody else because you have different tastes.

I think it looks best on Asura and Char.

But as people stated above its a bit boxy and oversized on the other races.

While I love much of the armor and weapons in this game, I’d like to see them branch out from the European and East Asian inspired styled armors and weapons. Do sorta of more Middle Eastern and Africa inspired outfits, armor and weapons.

I suppose in Tyria this would be Elona styled hehe.

I like it very much. But it has rly bad clipping issues. Pls fix.
