Finally got both 16 skins achieves!

(This was actually the first year I was able to attend SAB as I was never around this time of year – uh, dunno why?!)

Firstly I’d like to thanks ANet for creating this wonderful festival although this might come a bit of a late ;D Then I’d like to say that I am actually happy they didn’t make more worlds as having to do tribulation on another world would probably kill me. This also brings me to my second point…

kitten ANet, you sadistic bunch of WeeWees! Tribulation seriously stands for the word frustration in all the ways.. Not only that the challenge is the game acting unfair but your game design and the way the mechanics works (same jumps =/= same results), weird ice skate logic, DCs (HOLY MOLY DCS!) and everything seemed to be just part of the frustration train – bananas are world’s best sharpshooter as they can hit you pretty much anywhere. Tribulation Cloud inside game is pure bully mechanics and so on…

…but it was still hell of a ride and I’d like to vote for the future development!

What I would stress out (as even you must’ve noticed) people are not really interested in SAB because of the lack of content in the main game or the huge designed worlds and hardcore jump puzzle. They were drawn by the retro style and exploration in the terms of hidden rooms and so on – nostalgia feelings (you know the sound from Zelda when you pickup items and so on ;D). If you ever design another world to expand, please stick to the world 1 as a perfect example, not the world 2 which was way too much of a drag and took so much time to finish and was especially frustrating

Anyways, this is pretty much everything from me.
Thanks folks!

Looking forward for more meaningful content in the future! (as in terms of playability)

I agree W2 was not as well designed. It used to be a lot worse and a lot longer and there was a huge outcry which pulled devs off other things to shorten and improve it (that may/may not have been the catalyst for SAB dropping off the priority list later).

I also hate Trib. It just isn’t fun for me and far too long and frustrating to spend trying to get through, even with a video. But, ppl seem to like it, so at least it gives a bit more extension to the festival.

It’s a cool downtime festival, but it hasn’t grabbed me this year sadly. Maybe I’m more invested in other things atm (like actual Zelda), but I haven’ felt the “pull” so much..yet!

Thanks!

Duuuuuude the massiveness of the w2 maps gives them a huge
pro for me. It makes them feel like they are a real place somewhere and you feel like a small being in them also the lvl designs are pretty fanstastic with many areas inside the zones feeling like you can get around through diff routes and shortcuts and the lvl of detail and polish makes it feel like an actual standalone game.
