Seriously, a big thank you goes out from the bottom of my tiny little heart. These quick patches to keep the wintersday events running smoothly have been so much appreciated. And they’re always at such good times! Battles have been raging for hours in WvW during primetime with no clear winner! It’s despicable! But then comes along a patch and Bam! Winner decided. Thank you!

I’m also glad these fixes are so prompt and seemingly top priority for you. All of my friends and guildmates who are no longer playing keep asking me; “How’s the holiday events going for you?” “What kinds of amazing and wonderful things are they doing with the content updates?” And I can give them such great answers! Let me tell you, it makes my life much easier, because they never ask questions like; “Are difficult dungeons worth running yet?”, “Do Dynamic Events scale for other than 2-5 players?”, “Is sPvP still a ghost town?”, “Does my ranger yet hit for more than 400 with 3300 attack?”, “Is WvW finally as good as it was during BWE1?”, “Are small groups viable yet in WvW?”
Questions like those annoy me. Why would anyone want functioning PvE, PvP, and WvW in an MMO? All we want is fluff. I mean, it’s not like players notice all the glaring skill bugs, rendering bugs, and server stability issues when we’re doing these holiday events anyway.

Sarcasm aside; it feels (as in it’s my opinion) that this player-base is being treated like we are 10 year-olds, only interested in the next shiny. Even if we are, it is respectful to the player-base to fix core game-play issues, even at the expense of a content patch, so that those that actually do care about the success and longevity of this game are not left out to dry. Many (if not most) of your costumers are mature adults; please treat us as such.
