Guild Wars 2

I just found out the price for original guild wars 1 and factions and nightfall expansions is only 25EUR. I think this information is worth sharing for all the people that might wanna try it and experience the story before Guild Wars 2.

I just got done playing some GW1

GW1 is amazingly great. Such a pity that GW2’s release annihilated the server population.

Still great to play as a single play though, my favourite is Prophecies for story

I agree, Guild Wars 1 is still really great. Do you guys still play? Add me in game then please.

GW1 was good when it had a healthy population. I have everything except EotN, which did not interest me as I quit playing GW1 upon it’s release.

If there was actually some player base I might consider getting EotN and getting HoM rewards unlocked, but for now I don’t see that happening.

You don’t need big player base. A few friend is enough and take the heroes with you.

It’s still a lot of fun just to do stuff and play around with all the skills.

Aw Guild Wars 1, good times. Played for about 3 years and have everything beat. The population of the game is somewhat dead but since you can now take a all hero party with you there really isn’t any need for other players but it’s still fun if you can actually get other players to join you.

It’s sad now to me when I login to GW1 to see the towns that use to be filled with players now basically deserted. Seeing the people on my friends list and remembering the fun times I had with them and now no matter when I login none of them are ever on anymore. I didn’t even get a chance to say goodbye (*sniff)

GW1 was my first online mmo that I really got into and it was a fun ride all the way to the end. :’)

there was a huge deal awhile ago i got all 4 games.. i was going to play them in order but i think i’m going to farm hall of monuments points first ‘sigh’
ironically i don’t think gw2 is a very wholesome environment, i’ve resigned myself to as much single player-able content as possible.. so maybe gw1 will be a good break from it

A good way to start HoM Achievements is to play the games in order and complete every mission 100%, then go back and do it in Hard Mode.
