Thank you for updating the game suddenly. Because I had to relog I couldn’t rejoin in fotm level 36 anymore, several hours wasted for nothing (unlucky to get the dredge too). It blocks you from rejoining as you have a different client version from your party now.

So a fair warning to people that do high level fotm’s, pray to the six gods you don’t dc during an update.

Maintenance. Said it on the forums a short while ago (so this guy has hardly had “several hours” for it to patch), nothing new was added, no fixes, they were just making sure the servers were up and running properly.

I think he probably means he’d been playing for several hours but because he couldn’t rejoin his party after the update he missed out on the goodies.

How can update kick only you? Are you sure they didn’t kick you?

I really appreciate the update because it “fixed” the bugged event chain that prevented behemoth from appearing. ^^

he should be thankful there is a system to even rejoin in the first place. there is probaly a good reason not to let players join others with different patch builds.

I sympathize with the OP. It’s a crappy thing to have happen to you. Usually, for an update, there’s some sort of warning. At least I usually get one. If the OP didn’t, or if the game somehow crashed on him and he missed out, that’s a lousy feeling. It would kitten anyone off.

For what it’s worth (which is nothing at all) you have my sympathies OP.

It is just as bad for the over all group, just like you could not rejoin them. They also could not replace you and were left to try to 4 man the rest of the instance.

It gives you 3 hours before updating. It makes perfect sense that you cannot join a party with a different client version. I suggest you should not attempt to relog during an update unless everyone is doing the same.

Well I got an in-game warning quite ahead of time.

Sorry that the update inconvenienced people, but it was a needed maintenance update.
