Okay so been seeing so many Asuras wearing the Arctic Explorer outfit brandishing their lil toy weapons, I noticed one with the default Engi starter backpack skin and I mentioned he should use the Toymaker’s Bag skin. He said “is that still available?” so I told him I would check the wiki……..

Not really sure why this isn’t a seasonal prize/gift/reward, at least in skin form.

If I were running an asura around in a red and white Arctic Explorer’s Outfit I would certainly want that backpack skin (which I do have, just no Asuras

I’m so glad I kept both of mine for nostalgia. Now they’re part of my wardrobe. Still, it would be nice if ANet did at them as a possible return.

But, I’ll admit, a greedy part of me wants to keep it all to myself.

However unlike most cosemetics that are relished for their unobtainability, honestly tell me how often you see this skin being used……..

True enough. I don’t use it myself. Still, you never know. Maybe one day they’ll bring it back.

I use mine regularly, it’s one of the nicest normal-looking back items for when you don’t want the character to carry alightning storm or an alien on its back. There’s actually two of them, one has more red, the other one more blue.

It would be nice if it was re-released imho, but then you hit the “OMG it’s exclusive! don’t give it to the peasants! I earned it!” factor. And even past the players, see this red post in the new Mystic Forge Recipes thread: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/New-Mystic-Forge-Recipe/page/2#post4634568 for a dev stance on rarity being desirable.

I really wish they’d bring it back. I was really new to the game when I got mine 2 years ago and I accidentally sold or salvaged it long before the wardrobe system ever became available. I know this was my own fault and I’m hesitant to ask Support about it since I’m unsure they could even do anything to help and even if they could, they likely have many more important issues to handle. I was secretly hoping they’d introduce another variant of this backpiece for wintersday since I was in love with the original and missed the second version.
