I’ve been playing the game for maybe 9 months now, and I’ve heard a lot about the SAB (and listened to all the soundtracks), and I was wondering; is this coming back again? It was a april fool’s event, right, but thats already passed for this year (with bobblehead)? Correct me if Im wrong. Anyone know if/when this will return?

It sounds really cool, and if it came back, I would totally play it for hours.

It’ll -probably- be back. It was too popular not to make a come back. It’s already come back once, with the, ‘Back to School,’ edition.

I don’t think it will come back. It was just too good to be real. It was
1. too fun
2. too rewarding (skins attainable in game)
3. skill-based
4. provided with a hardmode that was nicely engaging…

… sooo, to clear it up: it rewarded good play and punished (more harshly than any other place) bad choices; it had rewards locked behind a matter of pure jumping/problem-solving (or yt video-watching) skills, and those skins couldn’t be attained by spending some cash in the gemstore gasp; players actually enjoyed it so spent too much time in an instance – gosh! – and put the mindless zerging aside for a few days.
Think about it: less people were blobbing the world events! less people doing all those super interesting stuff anet put in the open world, such as gathering metal scraps or being a waiter for some tipsy norn… there were less than 100 people at a time cluttering the priestess of dwayna!!!!!!!!!!

All of this was obviously unacceptable and clearly in contrast with the game’s intent.

I don’t know, maybe we might get a fractal SAB-themed? Maybe next year or for Christmas?

Then you think wrong. It will come back. There are 4 worlds, we only saw 2. Plus the entrance is still in Rata Sum.
For the when, only Anet knows.

If they didn’t bring it back I think they would have to say so and refund everyone who bought an infinite continue coin.

But most likely they will bring it back again. It might be tricky to incorporate it into the new system for Living Story stuff (I don’t think a journal entry would make sense) but maybe it could be done like a festival: a temporary update in between Living Story stuff.

Maybe it will show up during the impending break in a few weeks. Back to School, again. /shrug

It was awesome from day 1…

I hope it comes back. I enjoyed the change up.

The entry is still in Rata Sum… but it is unusable

I think there is more focus on the Living Story atm
