Q:

Why does the small glow on the ground lasts for so little time comparing to other two-handed weapons such Twilight and The Dreamer? And despite its short duration, the rainbow also lasts for very little time.

Considering current state of The Dreamer, don’t you think you could at least lengthen both glow animation and rainbow animation durations? I can even see rainbowy horseshoes overlapping each other because of its duration, despite a giant unicorn flying for its certain death!

TL;DR Increase footsteps and rainbow arc durations, please?

A:

If anything I think the effect duration on the other legendaries should be reduced, the Bifrost seems like it is in a good place, the others are obnoxious.

Please no. I like the bifrost’s animations. The footsteps feel soft and elegant, the rainbows are also light. The aura is soft and pretty… I think the bifrost is perfect as-is. This is the opinion of someone who also hated the addition of lightning footprints to meteorlogicus. It was a beautiful weapon without the glow and lightning.

Bifrost is perfect as it is. Soft, elegant, pretty, graceful, delicate, quiet, glowing and tenderly. The fleeting rainbow mirage of Bifrost works as intended.

It’s not about changing the effects per se, I also think it’s elegant and graceful, etc, it’s about their durations when comparing to other legendaries.

I haven’t even paid attention to such minor “flaw”. It’s perfectly good as it is. On the other hand, we should be more vocal about Rodgort’s footsteps. They are so small (and don’t last very long). I would like them to be closer in incinerator.

Oh I agree with FlamingFoxx. The effects on the other legendaries are obnoxious. One Twilight in a dungeon stacking situation is difficult to see through, any additions and you’re just guessing the enemy attacks cause you can’t see a thing.

I like the way it is now. The other legendaries leaving such long prints look like they are dropping bird droppings or poo on the floor. The kudzu looks like it drops vomit on the floor.

FlamingFoxx got a point, when I think about it yeah… too long duration.

I’ll chalk up another ‘I like Bifrost as it is’. It’s much more subtle than many of the others, which makes it far less intrusive on “busy” screens.
