Guild Wars 2

Im bored but for different reasons. I too have come back from a long break and I haven’t even managed to hit level 80. I find the personal story REALLY DULL! So much talking about nothing, I am sick of listening to the generic fantasy story written by a 12 year old which leads to gimmicky roughly scripted action scenes. And theres like 40 of these friggin quests it torturous! I think less would have been more devs, QUALITY OVER QUANTITY!

So I think I’ll skip the personal yawn fest story and go grind. Ooo lets pick some apples. Ooo lets shoot some termite mounds with a gun with an annoying CD. This is pseudo variety, it doesn’t refresh the grind it just grinds my gears. And I hate to farm minions with the same bloody skills all through the game GRRRRRR. Don’t get me wrong I remember some good times, mainly group quests and exploring, but now the zones are barren and exploring gets old after a while. I still want to persist and get to 80 because I miss the good old days of WoW and I thought this was gonna maybe hit the spot but it ain’t doing it for me. What about everyone else?

I’m enjoying the living story stuff, since I have lots of work to do it comes out at a rate I can only just complete in time, which is just right

Yeah I haven’t completed the personal story either, I just can’t stand instanced stuff without other players.

Good to hear im not the only who doesnt like the PS. For me, I dont mind the instancing if it was worth it, but its basically just normal GW2 in an instance with kitten loads of convos that are generic and boring. And the sheer overwhelming quantity gets me, but I had the mindset that it was probably worth it to do it even though I disliked it. Man im a sucker!

Well it was alright, I just had better things to do, also ended up running arah so many times before finishing the story so it felt weird :p

You played GW1 but don’t like the idea of chasing skins? That’s kinda weird.

Maybe you should look back in 3-4 months. A.Net released a lot of temporary content but they said that this will change.

I played GW1 for a very short period of time. I think I will take a break a couple of months then I will start playing again this game.

That’s the most reasonable thing to do, I think.
