Q:

I’m a bit confused about this title and I would very much appreciate a simple explanation.
Currently I have soulbound 80 unique pieces of cultural armor. I decided I would go the rest of the way to get The Emperor title, so I made another character just so I could go out and buy a few sets of cultural before deleting the character. I bought a full set of Charr light T1 armor but my The Emperor achievement didn’t progress. I have never bought this armor before, so I’m wondering, do I have to be the appropriate level for the armor before it counts towards the title? For example, I was level 2 and I had bought T1 level 30 armor (which I couldn’t wear), would I have to be level 30 before it counted?

A:

You need a Helm from each Tier (1, 2 and 3).
You need Shoulders from each Tier (1, 2 and 3).
You need a Chest from each Tier (1, 2 and 3).
You need Leggings from each Tier (1, 2 and 3).
You need Gloves from each Tier (1, 2 and 3).
You need Footwear from each Tier (1, 2 and 3).

(6 × 3 =) 18 Armor pieces per Race.

You may mix and/or match Armor weights.

You need this from each Race.

(18 × 5) = 90 unique Armor pieces for Emperor Title.

oh, the way it works is in tiers. you have to buy tier 1 2 and 3 of each race, any armor type, to get the emperor title.

As well as to progress each individual race armors. and level doesn’t matter, just the purchasing of it is enough.

Have you bought any other Charr T1 armor (the medium or heavy)? All I can think of is that I got confused once, thinking you’d be able to buy each T1 set and get credit, but you actually have to buy one full set of T1,_ T2, and T3 for the full 18 for that race.

So it winds up being a very costly achievement.

Or words to that effect.

Just one set of each. say you have a Charr Ranger: Just buy a single set of t1, 2, t3 medium and the Charr portion will be done.

You have to buy each armor piece of each tier regardless of light/medium/heavy.

For example you buy the Medium T1 helm. If you buy the Light T1 helm it won’t add a point towards the title.

Only a single armor class set of each tier for each race counts.

Two human T1 will only count 6 pieces. You will have to a Tier-Race combination you never bought before, regardless of armor class.

Thank you for all the answers, I understand what needs to be done now. I’ve selected the answer that broke down what I needed to know best for anyone whom has the same question in the future, so they can reference this thread.

Off to get my title!
