Guild Wars 2

Hello fello players of Guild Wars 2, i have just started to play this game in little overa weeks and decided to give my opinion on this game. Like we all know this game was hyped like hell and some say it lives up to the hype and some says it does not, we all have a own opinion on that topic but thats hype for you. For me the hype live up to.

What i through about the game is simply amazing, it’s one of the first games to reinvent the default canvas of “MMO’S” we know, that also gave problem for people trying to play the game like “WOW” which was a mistake for thos players, this game is not “WOW” and should not be compared to, this is an MMO like no other.

I feel when I play “Guild Wars 2” is something I and i can say for most of the other players is something not felt in “MMO” in a very long time. In it, We are not just a player who happens to be playing the same game that other players play we are all part of a community and part of a world changing what happens in it.

Like i said this game is AMAZING, the combate is really well made and fun to play with that said they gameplay is also really well made A++ i have came a cross some bugs in the game but what can you do, the game is only new so there will also been some bugs here and there and them should not put you down.

I’m not normally a PvP person but wow, when i play “Guild Wars 2” PvP and WvWvW i was amazed, i love the PvP side of the game its really fun to play.

I have played a hell of alot of MMO’s in my time and have to say this is one of the best or THE best MMO on the market but like i said I’m only new and still have a lot to see in the game.

Hey, glad to hear you are having a good time in the game. Me too. There are still moments (3 months in) where I just smile because they’ve done something so cool. If they stay true to their vision, this game should get only better over the years.

It is nice to read a positive post among the multitude of negative ones. I too enjoy the game very much. Started playing when the pre-orders got access, have a level 80 ranger and level 54 mesmer (love my mesmer).
The graphics in this game are the best in any MMO so far! The work that went into this is incredible. I love the fact that, when soloing PvE, there are events where everyone is on the same side, that, when someone is in trouble, there is a good chance that someone else who is nearby will help. A lot of times I do a skill point and end up with a little group who will help the common goal, then go their own ways after it is done, with a or a TX in the chat.
PvEers usually feel pretty isolated in other MMO’s but not in GW2. Yes there is some work to be done here but for me it is still the best MMO out thus far.

Yeah there are some things to be fixed but it’s good to know that the people behind the game is working hard on them ^^

I agree with you that is so nice just playing with others in the world and seeing it for the great work of art it is.

All bugs progress drops problems aside, this game is the best experience in any mmo I’ve had thus far. As a gathcraftsplorer this game definitely fits my play style and until recently was the best horizontal progression I’ve experienced in any title.

One can only hope that the mistakes they are making right now will be fixed soon and won’t further alienate players like me from mmo’s altogether by making this a dungeoncentric title.

dungeoncentricity is why I left all other titles behind.

They have a chance now to prove to us their manifesto matters going forward. I hope they take it and keep the pride they’ve shown in their videos to the public in future patches.
