How does anyone get anything relavent out of these threads ? !

The thread you viewed 30-mins ago gets buried by the thousands of rants a second -

These forums are useless to the new GW2 player – AreaNet needs to take em’ down – compile he useful information and make it available as DL content – move to an e-mail ticket system if here’s a real issue that someone wants to ask about

Guilds have thier own forums – and they’re MUCH MORE useful

Also, what? I get plenty of relevant information from these boards. You know there are more than general discussion?

As for losing a thread you have read there is a subscribe option, you could use it to keep track of a particular thread that interests you.

I tend to agree. There really needs to be a ‘complaint’ forum (which automatically deletes anything posted). ‘Guild Wars 2 Discussion’ is just depressing with very little discussion taking place. It is nothing but people thinking they can make a game better than the people who make games.

The forums are plenty useful. You get to see what the general opinion on the game is at the time. Which isn’t very good. Also what’s up with the thread title lol…?

No what they really need to do is just NOT have a general discussion board, I have not seen a single game site where the GD isn’t a cesspool of obsessive whining without purpose or direction. Organize the forums by topic and REQUIRE that people actually meet the topic of the forum in order to post.

Just stay out of the discussion board. It’s actually the complaint board in disguise. The Players Helping Players board is very useful as are most of the other boards.

Rant about rants. This is both new and interesting.
