Almost every day, some among us ask of our beloved devs the eternal question, “What are you guys doing back there?” and for the most part, the answer has been silence. Perhaps, though, the questioners have all this time been asking the wrong question. Perhaps there is a greater question that needs to be asked. Perhaps today this greater — nay, greatest! — of all questions shall be asked, and perhaps even… answered!

Us: What are you guys doing back there?

Them: (silence)

Us: What are you guys doing back there?

Them: (silence)

Us: What are you guys doing back there?

Them: Oh, wouldn’t you like to know! Nudge, nudge, wink, wink!

Some of Us: Oh-h-h-h! They honored/dissed us with cute/rude reply! How uplifting/depressing!

Others of Us: No, seriously, what are you guys doing back there?

(suddenly)

Toto: Arf! (Pulls back the curtain revealing hundreds of devs all dressed as Elvis)

All of Us: Gasp!

Them: We will thank ya, thank ya verra much if ya pay no attention to the Kings behind the curtain! (lights go out) Elvis has left the building! Elvis has left the building!

(lights come back on, revealing devs working diligently on vast heaps of what appears to be new content)

Them: Oh, hai! We are so very sorry, but we are so very busy here and have no time for idle chit chat! Kthxbai! (curtain closes)

Us: What’s that smell? Like peanut butter and bananas… ’cept… fried? Hey, what are you guys doing back there?

Them: (silence)
