I haven’t been able to find a similar topic on this question I have. I’ve been wanting to get a hold of the Original “The Hunter” precursor skin for the legendary “The Predator”. I’m looking for the one with the long barrel, has the scope and the gold trim on it. The Current “The Hunter” skin looks exactly like the legendary itself, just without the animations. Both “The Hunter” skins are in the wardrobe(I am aware of The Hunter Experimental skin, its just not the same). Is there any possible way of obtaining the original “The Hunter” precursor skin, or is it gone forever. Has the new one taken its place.

The only way to get the old The Hunter skin without getting The Hunter itself, was through PvP. It was the only precursor which didn’t have a cheaper duplicate exotic in PvE (Crystalline Blade looked like Zap, Usokus Needle was Spark).
And we all know what happened when the wardrobe came in.

And now the precursers have been modifed. The old Hunter skin is now unobtainable. I was lucky enough to get this in PvP 2 years ago. I guess it’s just another in my collection.

No, they modified the precursors. The first/second/final collections looked like battered/refined versions of the actual legendary.

Afaik tier 1 is a battered version of the last precursor, tier 2 is the old precursor and tier 3 is a new skin.

Well aware what the old precursor for Predator looks like.. I have it.

The “Perfected ____” set of items have the skin of the old precursor skins.
