Has anyone used this? Why or why not? How has it worked for you?

Features are too basic and not enough people know about it anyway. I find that website, gw2lfg is much better.

The fact you can party with anyone on any server (and join the same instance) is gold.

I have, but it didn’t worked out as I wanted, because you can’t specify what you are looking for.
Example, you are in Mount Maelstrom and you want to find a party to run CoE, and you set up the flag that you are looking for group and by some miracle someone saw that you were lfg and invited you, only to you find out that he’s doing the Destroyer event.

doesn’t mean you’re the best player in the group
it means the enemies considered you a low priority.”

I’ve seen someone else try it (someONE, not manyONES). Basically someone said they were LFG AC, right in front of AC, then someone else told them to try the LFG tool. first time I heard anyone actually suggest it, so I went and looked and there were 2 people looking to join a group there.

I have tried using it several times, to no success. It is way too limited to really be of use.

You mean /lfg ? Yeah, I use it often. I turn it on when I’m standing in front of a dungeon and I turn it on in Orr at shelter etc. I turned it on last night at shelter to no success, then realized no one was grouped lol. So just started adding members.

But anyway, people at Orr usually know what the blue glass next to the name means. If I use it at like AC, someone could be spamming LFM and I’ll be standing right in front of them with a decked out lvl 80 and they wont realize until I say lfg ac exp etc.
