Sup, I know tha in somewhere have topics about this, but i didn’t really find examples.

The Bifrost precursor “The legend”, can REALLY be forged in Mystic Forge by trhowing 4 Rares/Exo on it? I mean… Have a large amount of videos and screenshots about people getting the dusk, or the lover from the forge.

But no one I’ve found of the legend. (And by the way.. Only exists the staff version with the sigil of rage on it, what is a little strange: I don’t remember of forge giving upgraded weapons anyway)

Im pretty sure this is the case for any precursor. I myself have thrown about 300-350 rare shortbows and about two dozen exotics in there for The Lover.

With 0 success.

You can get all precursors in the forge. Don’t need video proof.

So far I’ve gotten from the forge:

2 Venom
The Chosen
Chaos Gun
Spark
Rodgort’s Flame
The Energizer

Sold them all except for Spark which I used to make Incinerator.

For those that are unaware all of those are precursors to the Legendary. So yes the Legendary’s can be forged using the mystic forge and precursors can be obtained there.

I made the legend 3-4 months ago, so yes you can forge it!

I forged my Legend from throwing crafted rare level 80 staves into the forge.

4 random rares got me kudzu, so it can happen. What I typically do is toss rare weapons from world events/drops in the forge. All it takes is that one time for you to have just enough luck.

The forge can put out just about any equip that can randomly drop, plus crafted gear, plus a few pieces that are unique to the forge…

Anything that has a specific forge recipe isn’t on the random list, though. Precursors are on the random list.

Yes, you can. A guild mate of mine did this with lvl 80 rares. He purchased the cheapest ones available on the trading post. He got it on the 7th try. Some people’s luck… >_<

Yup, can definitely do this. I made mine the other day (and sold for a tidy profit, I might add). Put in 3 lvl80 rares and, strangely enough, a lvl46 rare…
