What happened to it? It is gone since the Halloween event :?

It was destroyed, possible permanently, by Mad King Thorn. As far as we know it won’t come back.

Well I clearly remember that one of the devs (the one who actually created the statue) said that it is not gone, it will be back, soon, but the place is empty since then. Also he stated that they put a lot of work in this staue and its details, afaik, and it will be back in Lion’s Arch?! This is what I remember…

on the other hand waht lieing where it used to be, could look like something that could be used for building something, so i geuss we gonna get a new one at some point

Yeah, the place now looks like a construction site, I hope that we are going to get something there soon, it is ugly empty right now :/

There will be HUGE xmas tree on the place of it soon don’t worry.

I would rather they keep that plaza open for monthly events, as it’s a nice open space. I know that guy worked hard on the statue, and lore-wise all the races added their own bits to it over time, but it really was a terrible statue. I don’t know why, I just avoided looking at it every time I ran past it. Maybe that was the point.
