The Little Things
I climbed a hill in Queensdale and suddenly realised how amazing Divinity’s Reach looks from the other side of the zone. Too much focus on beating up bandits for 8 months!

There are so many little cool things in this game. I keep finding them. Every time I turn around there’s something I hadn’t noticed before my first six times through the game. That’s pretty cool.
And so many oblique (and sometimes no so oblique) references to Guild Wars 1 also. I particularly enjoy those.
Hirathi Hinterlands:
Exploring I did a skill point that was in a dolyak bone yard (SE corner). As I was leaving I came across a cave with some bandit ghosts. Decided to go in figuring either an open world dungeon or a jump puzzle. Instead I found several clues to this being a bandit hideout that was haunted by a “great white beast”. As I left sure enough a White Dolyak Ghost made its way into the cave, and in the main chamber a Veteran Ghost spawned yelling at the Dolyak. Even though I didn’t get much from it, it was such a nice little thing to stumble upon while questing.

In Divinity’s Reach there are two NPCs called ‘Friendly Citizens’ so I decided to bring my Sylvari mesmer up to them and have a little chat. One of them was positive about the city, the other one wanted a Sylvari as pet.
I felt like running away.
