Since the game started i never really did something truly hardcore, till the 15th April!

On my side, the most hardcore thing i ever done:
- Enter 3 Headed Wurm Event on the same instance than my Party / Guildies.
Such proven me, only a true warrior can beat MegaServer and be able to play with his friends!

- Do one Tequatl Run with all players naked (no armor), when a true warrior is able to beat megaserver and play with his group, fun things happen.

What’s the most hardcore thing you ever done on GW2?

Beat liadri naked. Awesome.

Also, turbulennce mode on world 2-3 without reading guides, that was very hard. And for last, we (Tts) have beat teq without any turrent operator. Only massive zerg.

I don’t consider myself a ‘hardcore’ player in any sense of the word, but I have done one thing that I think migh count: I completed the Mad King’s Clocktower JP on my 3 year old laptop, using only a trackpad (it is the only computer I own, and yes, I am saving to eventually get a gaming desktop).

Don’t think I’ve ever done anything really hard core. But I have a great love of dying stupid deaths, so I’ve jumped (and Fiery Greatsword 3-ed) off a lot of very high places

Well, the thing I’m most proud of is killing Rhendak the Crazed on my lvl40 or so mesmer while the other two that were in there with me were just floating around (being defeated does that to you :P)

That was one hell of a fight that I barely managed to survive, but in the end actually did.

Depends on what the definition of hardcore is.

-Defeating Liadri
-Surviving/soloing random bosses when my party wipes
-Getting 550 some Charged Lodestones worth of various skins since the game launched (and plenty more to get)

joking aside, most hardcore would be “soloing” Mai Trin.

Challenged my mount to a duel, and strangled it with my cape. That was a truely epic moment and no i know we really need open PvM in this game (Players vs. Mounts).

-Killing 6 geared players at once as a Power Necromancer on WvW at once with wise usage of constant Spectral Walk and Flesh Wurm to trick them with Z-axis.
-Defeating Liadri as Power Necromancer with almost every gambit on.
-Completing Mad King’s Tower on first try as a Charr
-Soloing most of the Champions in game as a Power Necro
-Keeping Thief chain-feared for 16 seconds as a Ranger

…I’ll show myself out.

I used to frequently solo TA (pre easymode patch). Now it is no fun because it is pretty darn easy to solo with the downscaling of mobs.

USING CLERICS.

I defeated a bearbow ranger.

I finished yesterday’s daily. Take that all you hardcore players!

Also I beat the Evolved Jungle Wurm with my healing skill alone.

Whenever my character dies, I delete him. HARDCORE

No wait, that’s a different game I do that for. :P

Probably this, it took long, it was an incredibly stupid idea,
i was deprived of a nights sleep and had to get recording software with my sleepy head
which i dow- bought, ofcourse we don’t do illegal stuff.
i guess you could call it masochistic.
but in the end, LOL.

Killed an ambient rabbit with a fully skilled up treb shot. The rabbit thought that was pretty hard core anyway.

Took Blackgate’s garrison solo while naked on my upscale level 3 ranger on reset night. Was totally epic even if it was only a dream! You didn’t stipulate in game.

Getting a couple of crafters to the highest level in Dark Age of Camelot. The sheer boredom and tedium of that task was beyond absurd. Anything in this game pales in comparison.

The most hardcore thing I’ve done was build a full set of ascended armor WITHOUT buying anything from the TP. Yeah that’s right. I farmed it all.

My most hardcore is 3 manning the Champ Cave Troll. Lots of reviving in that one, but we managed it.

Yeah, I’m pretty casual, so that’s my most hard core.

Probably winning one of the aotm 1v1 tourneys a couple months back.

Won a 3v5 game in tpvp at 500-499 score =D!

Completed the Not so secret puzzle in 9 minutes (from WP to chest).

And… I tested my first legendary (twilight) killing an orrian chicken!!! (Oh the memories… i will never forget that one xD)

I wrote a guide to playing the Engineer in WvW, but my guide is now very outdated due to the new trait system.

I fought a Taekwondo match with 3 broken toes. I ran a 48 second 400m with two broken metatarsals. Neither of those things were in a video game though.

sniped 6 enemies in a camp as a necromancer in lich form.

What is hardcore to me may not be hardcore to you. But I’ll toss in my hardestcore challenges I’ve faced as an engineer. Soloed vexa’s lab no guides just random not planned as I found the jp exploring did both golem and vexa as rifle berserker setup engi no deaths took little while because lack of defense.

Countless warrior based champions soloed as bomber berserker engi. Most recent I remember is that jotun that attacks the camp (kenning testing ground) and the giant undersea ice wurm in highland thaw.

My last most recent would be soloing AC dungeon with healer/boon engi (no guides read and no downs or deaths minimum dps first try) in story mode. Just went to the shattered sword got 1st chest. Also encountered a bug where the elite mesmer warrior and ele are at door where that norn chick is them ghosts ran down to where i was (bigger room) and got stuck between a door and wall that took me awhile as i had to tank all 3 at once and using my wrench kit lol (magnet wouldn’t pull em out but would knock them down I had to kill them 1 by 1 like that and that was only way i was able to hit them if they couldn’t hit me and I them it would give the invulnerable message :/ Warrior probably took the longest because i wasn’t dps setup and his self heal made it very hard.

Screen shot shows me at chest. That battle was hell if i nearly died anywhere in this AC solo that was the battle that spawns the chest just so much aggro…..

After countless hours of sleep deprived blood, sweat and tears, countless gauntlet tickets, respec’ing, re-outfitting, studying tutorials, and several nearly irresistible urges to throw my computer out the window I finally beat Liadri…on my necro.

The Liadri mini is still the only trophy that I care about in GW2 and my most epic memory of personal triumph in the game to date.

You guys need to get on my level. I gnawed trees down into usable wood which I used to form a crude pickaxe. I then used my crude pickaxe to mine enough metal for a computer. I then built a small fire with nothing but twigs and sheer force of will, which I used to melt the metal. I used my bare hands to shape it into the correct form. It has 128 gigabytes of RAM and over 500 terabytes of memory, on top of 12 gigs of Vram and a 16 core processor that has speeds of 10 ghz.

Shhh! Aw, dude… too late! You know your mini is gonna get nerfed now, right? They’ll probably give everyone in the game one for their second birthday present.

I dunno if this is what you mean by doing something hardcore, but when I saw what they did to all my Town Clothes I threw my keyboard in a fit if rage and accidentally broke my monitor. And every day since, the MegaServer gives me new reasons to fear for my replacement monitor as well.

Liadri Light Up the Dark Chivo and Full Clearing SAB W2 Tribulation mode… twice. (W2Z2 mentally traumatized me with all those spike traps) Even had to do Z2 a 3rd time cuz I missed secret shop at end. >.<

That extends beyond GW2 also, I’ve never experienced a more difficult and frustrating video game experience than W2Z2 and W2Z3 (mainly the icespike room spot) Tribulation mode. Still waiting for W3-4. o.O

I have never been so challenged in such a way. (Other MMO’s present challenge as “get really good gear then kill boss”)

When I saw her health go 0% I nearly cried. And it was the last week of Queens Jubilee AND it was after 100+ tries…

Actually in this day and age of selfishness and lack of moral discipline, that’s extraordinarily hardcore. Totally off-topic though.

I feel hardcore when I carry my team in PvP… and summarily switch servers the next match. 3 hardcore 5 me.
