OK…I dont know if any of you have her locations..
But I cant seem to find her and people in map chat either dont know or dont care to actually answer…

Soooo..

Does anyone know the spawn locations of the new vendor so I can get rid of all these blade shards?

Its not in the game yet.

There will almost certainly be a patch note when it is added.

Well it’s in the 18th patch notes so one would assume that she would be some where in the game

Rumors tell of a merchant interested in items from major events in Tyria’s recent history, including Blade Shards. Players are encouraged to hold on to these items if they are interested in trading with her when she appears.”

So maybe she hasn’t appeared yet or no one has found her yet

I wouldnt completely rule out that she is in game yet, the patch notes stated:

“Rumors tell of a merchant interested in items from major events in Tyria’s recent history, including Blade Shards. Players are encouraged to hold on to these items if they are interested in trading with her when she appears.”

So she might appear in different undisclosed locations, just like Nicholas the Traveler in GW1, and hasnt been found by anybody yet. I didnt play GW1 and only read up on Nicholas on the wiki so i dont really know his mechanics.
But i would like, if she spawns somewhere and when the first player on each server talks to her, she will stay there for 24 more hours until going somewhere else.

If this is the case (and she already is in game but not found yet), i would start searching in Brisbane Wildlands, as Marjory´s sister mentioned a group of black market traders in that zone.

I took the patch notes as saying she will appear at a future date. My guess is you will notice a patch download before she appears. If she was already in game I would think dulfy.net would have found it by now and would be on the website.

Its not in the game yet, re-read this statement:

" Players are encouraged to hold on to these items if they are interested in trading with her when she appears.”

Translation: Hold on to any Living story 1 items that you have acquired since you may be able to trade some of these in the near future with the addition of a new NPC.

I don’t believe the vendor has been hired yet by Lion’s Guard.

Whew, good timing Anet with the release of the expanded collection tabs at the same time we’re told to hold onto them for a bit. Those bulk blades sure were taking up valuable inventory space.

I was really disappointed when I saw the living story: aftermath wasn’t actually implemented 2 weeks after the previous one. When I saw the news I was like ‘yay new content! Then I logged in and was like… err… where’s the living story? Oh, it’s not there. Mmmk?’

Then to find out the npc that is supposedly giving us more uses for blade shards was also in the news, but not actually implemented. Which made me think… Wait, what parts of the news are actually relevant and were implemented? Or do we have to wait another 2 weeks for any actual new content?
