The No UI Challenge.
This sounds like it could be fun. Maybe add a bit of challenge. How about we take it further and add some more rulesets people could try?
-To further increase immersion (since the UI is already off) if you decide to go for a vista, you must sit through the entire cinematic (small, but…still)
-You are only allowed to buy items (this includes weapons, armor and trinkets) from heart merchants after you have completed said hearts. This is to give the feeling that, “I helped this person, and now they’re helping me!” since karma is technically just a “I help people” currency.
-Give your character a name that fits that race’s lore. Something like a first and last name for humans, a sort of out-there name for asura, and so on.
-If you’re a ranger, use Nuzlocke rules. If your pet dies, it’s ‘dead’ forever, and you have to use a new one, and you MUST name it. Again, immersion.
-And since I said the one above, how about Fire Emblem rules? Once you die, you’re dead forever? Or, to make it a bit easier, how about give yourself a set number of lives, and once you run out of lives, you have to re-start the run?
I could go on with more rules, but it’s already too complicated as it is x.x Nice idea, though! I’m definitely going to try it sometime.

Nice ideas, but I think one live is too harsh, I probably will try 10 lives.
Yeah, it was just a thought. It could really measure how well you play the game if you give yourself a few limits. It’s also a great way to get more immersed and ‘in-tune’ with the game world. It would make me feel like I’m actually in Tyria.

Ive planning on a playthrough like that for some time. But I end up spending more time on all my other toons.
No UI, naked, no trinkets, no skill points used, no trait points used, only weapon allowed is the weapon you started with at creation, no food, no boosts, no nourishment, no events, no personal story, no W3, no dungeons, no tomes/scrolls or writs. You are only allowed to get xp from killing random creatures in the world. If you get xp from an event (with exception of the opening events in the starting instance upon character creation) you lose and must delete your character. You may gather, no crafting, and you cannot run or waypoint. You must walk everywhere (toggle walk). After reaching level 80 you do a happy naked dance in Vinewrath’s lair, and that’s how you win. Eat your heart out, WoW fanboys.

That’s a bit extreme, but a pretty good challenge. I’d love to see somebody complete this!

Impossible because being in the random proximity of a dynamic event, even one you can’t see in any way, awards you event completion.
