I want to make a thread here, that clearly should show people, how the patch tomorrow will effectively change all of our “builds” tomorrow, positively, as like negatively.
So I would like it, if everyone posts here his/ her actual builds, that you are playing.
This includes infos about:
- What are your current Stats pre patch, and how are they all after the patch tomorrow?
- What are your Traits used currently, and how does your build look tomorrow?
- What effects of traits from your current build are after the patch not there anymore?
Why should we make this kind of direct comparison between today and tomorrow?
Simply to see directly all the great changes and to be able to see better directly and decide for us, if all those changes where more for the positive, or more personalyl for the negative maybe for us, because its pretty sure, that the patch tomorrow will absolutely destroy alot of player builds.
Many of our builds surely won’t be anymore playable exactly the same way, like its still the way today.
The whole Combat System absolutely will feel different for sure tomorrow, it will be a completely different gameplay feeling, thats why I find it important to make such a direct comparison thread.

PVE Stats:
Max Health: Today: 21355 – Tomorrow: 20326 = MINUS 1029 Health
Power: Today: 1739 – Tomorrow: 1923 = PLUS 184
Vitality: Today: 1969 – Tomorrow: 1753 = MINUS 216!!!!!!
Toughness: Today: 1411 – Tomorrow: 1621 = PLUS 210!!!!!
Precision: Today: 1821 – Tomorrow: 1708 = MINUS 113
Ferocity: Today: 683 – Tomorrow: 638 = MINUS 45
Criticals Today: 195,53% – Tomorrow: 192,53% = MINUS -3%
Critical Chance: Today D/D: 53%, Today SB: 46% – Tomorrow D/D: 44,66% &, Tomorrow SB: 37,71% = MINUS -8,34% for D/D!!!! and MINUS -8,29% for SB!!!!!
Healing: Today: 255 – Tomorrow: 314 = PLUS 59
Condition: Today: 300 – Tomorrow: 374 = PLUS 74
Condition Duration: Today: 10,0% – Tomorrow: 0%!!!!!! = MINUS -10%!!!!!!
Boon Duration Today: 35,0% – Tomorrow: 5,00%!!!! = MINUS -30%!!!!!
Steal Efficiency Today: 0% – Tomorrow: 0% = UNCHANGED
Weapon used:
Dagger Damage: PPF Exo 924-981 = UNCHANGED
Shortbow Damage: PPF Exo 905-1000 UNCHANGED
Gear used:
PVT mixed Exo/Ascended Armor (yet no full Ascended Set xD) with Rune of Sanctuary mixed together with Celestial Ascended Accessoires and Back Item
Traits used:
26060 Build.
So my 3 chosen 666 Core Specialization for the comparison tomorrow would be Deadly Arts, Critical Hits and Acrobatics
Using currently:
- DA III
- CH I, VI, XIII
- AC I, VII, XI
Removed Traits not useable anymore tomorrow
Removed Traits not anymore working with my Build are:
- Assassin’s Reward = I won’t get anymore Healings from my Critical Hits
- Fall Damage Trait = No more 50% reduced Damage and Stealth from FD, whats pretty much a must for WvW, so to get it back, I’m forced now to change my build, wherefore I will lose now completely other things, if I do that!!
- 5% of my overall Crit Chance are now also immeditely lost, if I fall under 90% health, whats ridiculous, these kind of effects are pure garbage, cause in combat are are mostly all the time under 90% health more or less
- Practiced Tolerance lets me lose now Max Health for Ferocity and is still so weak, that my total Critical Damage went down 3% GG
- I won’t get healed from Weakness and Cripple anymore, when performing a Dodge Roll, therefore is now cripple/chill 50% less effective and immobilize doesn’t stop me anymore and becomes cripplle.. however I consider it a nerf, cause its Weakness, that draws alot of DPS, Cripple was never a big issue…
Brief said, by Build got basicalyl completely destroyed, Anet turned my build into a pseudo Glass Cannon, totally messing everything up and most of the Traits are such big garbage, that there is really no great build diversity left over for me anymore the way how I do prefer to play my thief.
The new Trait System needs more options. 3 choices is just too less, it needs to get increased to 4 per line and all minor traits need to have options too and shouldnt be fix effects and some traits simply need still significant improvements and changes, so that they become actually useful traits…
My opinion here, share it or not.
I’m interested to see, how much the builds of other players have been ruined by these massive stat and trait changes , so please post your comparisons.
