Guild Wars 2

I am wondering do the seasons remain to be done for those who have yet to do them? or Do we not get the option to do these questing sets for the updated gear and such?

Season 2 is permanent.

Well That answers 1 of the seasons. what about Season 1 stuff?

I assume you mean the two parts of the Living Story?

Season 1 is gone. There is no way for anyone to play any part of it currently.

Season 2 however is permanent. Some parts are open to everyone, mainly the two new maps (Dry Top and Silverwastes), other parts have to be unlocked, either by logging in during the 2 week window for that release or by paying 200 gems. Once you’ve got it unlocked you can play it on any level 80 character on your account, forever. If I created a new character today and levelled them to 80 I could use them to play the story which came out back in June.

On a largely unrelated note they don’t give any ‘updated gear’. There are skins which were released through the living story but no new tiers. In fact most of the equipment you get from it isn’t even ascended (the highest tier). The only one which is (I think) is Mawdrey.

Some of the Season 1 rewards can be purchased at the Laurel vendor.

well guess couldn’t hope for them to leave it open for to long. so the 2nd season they made permanent but some things i Have to unlock using the cash shop as I know them kitten Thank you all for the info considering making a new character anyways.
