So here’s Come Little Children. It actually has a sharp/flat in the “into a land of enchantment” line and related lines, but for some reason it sounds just fine using what we have on the flute. Also I don’t know if you are aware that this song has multiple verses. Luckily they all have the same melody.

If somebody could make the sheets for this, i would be very happy.

I finally found the time to rewrite all tabs for the songs I played by now in the “bracket notation” (what is – even though the idea is simple – ingenious). I have also updated the video descriptions, so they also contain the tabs in bracket notation now.

I marked all the songs, that haven’t been posted by now with ***NEW*** to make it easier for the thread owner to tell the doubles apart from the new ones and update the index.

I always try to do my transcriptions to be as faithful to the music as possible without alterations, but some might like simpler/cut versions better.

And I found a sheet in C for Braveheart, I’m starting the transcription. Shouldn’t take too long, it is quite simple.
Well, compared to Still Alive or Dr Who, everything seems simple!

EDIT :

I had to transpose the second flute part to match the first, because of a lack of #4, but you can only notice it if you hear both the original and this version a the same time.

Edit 2 : This forum has the nasty habit to replace my " – - " with “—”, so it is difficult to differentiate 2 dashes from 3. I suggest you quote my message before copying the transcription. It will also remove any kitten that could be applied by the censure system.

Unfortunately each post has a maximum character count of 5000. The links for each song take up more characters than what you can see in each post and I can fit around 35 to 40 songs with links in each post. Linking each version just isn’t feasible anymore, especially for songs like Fear Not This Night that have been submitted around half-a-dozen times already.

At the rate we’re going, I’ll probably be out of room in a few months and will have to start eating into the requests and edit some of my earlier posts. At that point we might have to make a separate thread for requests, but it’s working out okay for the time being.

Here is a piece from one of my favorite band, Alestorm!
You wouldn’t think Pirate metal would sound that good on the flute, but the accordion part is great at the flute.

Sadly, I can’t do the verses, for the same reason as always, but since the music consists only of held notes to support the voice, it is not that bad.
It gave me the idea to do more pirate song though, it’ll be great for Lion’s Arch!

Another piece of Alestorm, this time the intro of Scraping the Barrel, sounds great but sadly it is only part the flute can do.

Hey guys, just dropping in to say I’m still here! I’m sorry I haven’t gotten to updating the thread in a while, but it can literally take hours to get everything in place and I haven’t found the proper time to do it between school and my personal life.
