Could we get an infusion that applies the same effect as the buff during Champion Mordrem Mangler?

Could we have an option to disable (other players’) infusion visual effects instead?

Supported! That’s a really awesome aura, would be cool to be able to have it at all times

Yeah, I agree. I try to aim to get the buff just before it ends so I have the aura the max amount of time.

You realize this effect is akin to the Halloween effects? And that’s it’s just a different hue placed on your character rather than a full animated effect? It is so very minimal…

Yes, and I find all those infusions ugly and immersion breaking. Now, if players like them, good for them, but please, also realize others don’t (and that’s an euphemism).

All true and nevertheless I like the effect. (And even if I didn’t, I’d like to see a few more colors other than the four we have to date.)

If you’re immersed in Tyrian society, wouldn’t you accept that the people you meet have bad taste as well as good taste? Even if you disliked their choices, you’d realize it was their choice to make.

I think I’d like an option to turn these infusions on other people off too but for me it’s more medical than a matter of bad taste. I inherited migraines from both sides of my family. To explain it, researchers are finding out that migraines are a cousin to epilepsy and share some of the same triggers such as sound or light. For me, for some reason, the Winter’s Presence and that new Phopholuminescent are both immediately nauseating If I see them (but not the Queen Bee or the other infusions). I can turn away but that might not work if there are more than one person with something like that in the area or running in a Zerg doing a meta event and the person is in the group.

It’s not a major big deal but if they are going to add flash and more flash it might be something ANet could consider.

Be careful what you ask for
ANet may give it to you.

Yeah, that was kinda my point. The reason doesn’t really matter actually. I’ve had the same feeling about wings too. It’s so silly I feel like switching a couple of files in the client to shortcut those visual effects.

Yeah I agree with the persons above, I also have migraine most of the time after seeing someone who have too many visual effects from infusion/aura/backpack and also would like an option hide other people backpack, this is why i rarely equip backpack skin other than the skin from crafting discipline/quaggan since other people’s wings are detering my view especially on jumping puzzle/raid.

You guys have a really solid point: turning off aura effects from items. But it goes a little out of scope, as this is a topic to suggest a new aura. Anyways, I still hope they consider this item and that option, it will benefit many people. I too think a stack of auras is ugly as hell, but I occasionally like what they do with some cosmetic effects in the game.
